Don Doerksen

Don Doerksen is a southern gospel soloist from Niverville, MB. Don grew up on the farm he currently owns and operates with his family. Don and his wife Valerie have four children and are actively involved in the community and in the church. 

Don's love for singing has expressed itself in a variety of ways throughout his life, including quartets, choirs, Bible college ensembles, and he has been a worship leader in church for close to 30 years. It 's not just the love of singing that motivates this rich baritone voice but a deep love for God and all that He has done. Music has always been Don's favorite way to worship and minister to others, because it ministers first to him. 

After numerous requests, Don fulfilled a lifelong dream in 2014 when he recorded his first album under the direction of Award Winning Southern Gospel Songwriter Phil Cross. He followed this effort with a second album recorded in 2016, again with Cross. 

Since then God has given Don many different platforms to use his gift of singing to encourage and minister to audiences in many cities in both Canada and the US. Don is driven by a burning desire to let the world know that there is hope for tomorrow when one trusts the God who holds it.
